Dear Jon,

Ever since the first facebook message that I saw of your passing, I have been in a state of disbelieve. I\'d expected to see you again in september when everyone of the 3rd year ICV would be back in Groningen, so that we could discuss our experiences of our study/internship abroad. I was looking forward to share these experiences with you. Unfortunately this won\'t be the case! Jon, you are a great teacher, an inspiration to many and a friend to all of us. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and life experiences with us. It is an honour to have known you.

My thoughts go out to Maureen, Jean-Paul and Michael. Jon often mentioned you during class. He was proud of all of you!

Rest In Peace...
Jan - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Dear Maureen,

Life is a mystery; there is a very thin line between life and death. I know what it?s like when you lose someone that you love ? you will change, you will look at life in a different way.
What remains are the wonderful memories of your loved one.
I wish you great strength..
