Silvester Slavenburg werd geboren in Dordrecht op 27 september 1957. Zijn ouders/opvoeders waren Piet Slavenburg en Jo Slavenburg-de Koning. Silvester volgde in Tilburg aan de HTS een studie Construction Management. Silvester was vanaf 1984 werkzaam bij Slavenburg BV als dga. Zijn vrije tijd besteedde hij graag aan Reizen en Films. Op sportief gebied stak hij zijn energie in Zeilen en Motor rijden. De laatste woonplaats van Silvester was Amsterdam.
