Tips over condoleren of herinneringen delen?
My dear Dad,
You are no longer physically with me. It is sometimes unreal that you are no longer here. But you have passed on your DNA and you live on in me, in the hearts and memories of my sons and granddaughter.
Your way of playing guitar was one of a kind and your sound are forever captured in many, many beautiful songs.
Also your recognizable voice, both in lead- and backing vocals, in combination with your guitar playing, will surely be loved and appreciated by our next generations.
You have left us a musical legacy, not only with your guitar playing, the compositions you wrote yourself, the arrangements and all the songs you sang and produced.
Some people stole your musical ideas, concepts, directions and lyrics and pretended they came up with them themselves. But we know better, time will tell.
You didn't want to let go, and still had so many plans and musical ideas. Finally you are reunited with your mother, father, brother and sisters, and the rest of the family who already made the transition. Your party will continue there.
You knew as one of the few that I don’t like being the center of attention. But you asked me a few years ago to arrange your cremation, in case you were no longer with us. I did it for you, with all my honor and love.
Your brother, uncle Iwan, would say: “There's a time to come and a time to go. And your time to go has come”.
You would say: “The show must go on, no matter what”. I promise you: The show will go on, no matter what.
You were always curious about our family tree. I still have so many questions and so much to tell. But it's okay, I will let you go, fly, fly high my Dad. You are now a shining star, shine your light on me!
