      In loving memory

      Jimmy Lawton (Jimmy Dwaine DeGraw) passed away on 29 April 2017 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, with his family by his side. Jimmy had a long successful career in country music, entertaining around the world.
      Jim was born in Taloga, Oklahoma, USA on 10 June 1936. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Melvin and Verda DeGraw, brothers Carter and Don and sister Jean Delight.

      Jimmy leaves behind his wife Caroline, their son Jason, his daughters Patty and Tina, his grandchildren Shelley, Lyndsey, Zoe and great grand children Anoek and Jasper.

      His career as a country (and gospel) music artist began in the United States, in California, then Las Vegas, Nevada, after which he moved to Europe. He toured around the world, often together with his ‘Hot Beaver Band’ (later: Stratcat).

      Jimmy is loved and missed by many. For all those joining in our sorrow, please also join us in celebrating Jimmy’s new life in a glorious heaven, where he is singing in the light of God’s love.
