Tips over condoleren of herinneringen delen?
25 plus years ago you came to the US and stayed with us through an exchange student program. Even as a teenager, you were kind and thoughtful and just a joy to be around. You visited us a couple more times and we were blessed to stay in touch all these years. You were so brave and such a fighter, a true inspiration. You truly were a light in this sometimes dark world. We have prayed for you and are so sad to hear you had passed. You will be greatly missed. Praying for your family during this very difficult time.

Such an admirable woman, professionally and personally
There are people who leave a mark and you, Marije, were one of them. You were a kind and courageous woman, an inspiring and caring manager, a true example to follow. You were always supportive, even when you were struggling.
Some time ago, you recommended me the book “The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse” which I found and bought in a beautiful bookstore (previously a church) in Maastricht. From this book you gave me a framed quote that is on my desk and I see every morning. It says: “One of our greatest freedom is how we react to things“ Today, after being told the sad news, I have read it again.
I will miss you. Rest in peace, dear Marije.
