      It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved colleague and friend, Mateusz.

      Mateusz joined AEGIR-Marine on April 17, 2023, and from the very start, he made a lasting impression with his warm personality and dedication. He quickly became not only a valuable colleague but also a cherished member of our AEGIR family.
      Mateusz was full of energy, eager to learn, and very sociable, we felt a warm connection with him.

      His radiant smile and positive spirit left a mark on everyone who knew him.

      The loss of Mateusz leaves a void in the AEGIR-family, but we will remember him as the wonderful person he was.
      Our thoughts go out to his beloved family and friends. We send them all our strength and love during this difficult time. Mateusz will forever live on in our hearts.

        A voyage began in bright morning light,
        With sails full and ocean calm in sight.
        Through waters blue, in warmth and cheer,
        A hopeful course that seemed so clear.

        But clouds gathered dark, and winds grew fierce,
        Waves of struggle, relentless and terse.
        A dragging anchor, heavy below,
        Held down by pain that refused to let go.

        Yet now, at last, the storm has ceased,
        The chains have lifted, and the soul’s released.
        In still, calm waters, the sailor rests,
        With peace at last, where the sea reflects.

        A journey completed, beyond the tide,
        Where pain has vanished, and peace abides.
        We bid farewell, with love held tight,
        To the brave sailor who embraced the night.
        We will miss you Mateusz! I wish Dagmara and his family all the strength they need during this incredibly difficult time. I hope you all find peace in the cherished memories we have!

        I would like to bring my condolences to the family, girlfriend, friends and other beloved ones of our highly appreciated colleague Mateusz. We met him in April 2023 during his training in Wijk bij Duurstede and it was great to get to know him. He was a sparkling, interested and warm young man. So, so sad to hear of his passing. I wish all involved all the strength. With love from Saskia.
