On Tuesday I was having a nice 60th Birthday, until I got the news about the death of a great man. Tragically Roland died leaving me empty and I am going to miss him. My thoughts goes out to his wife Louise for her and our loss. Roland will always be in my thoughts and I was proud to call him my friend

A pleasure to have met such an inspirational gentleman and listen to his advice and guidance. Always polite and friendly. Will be missed by those he met in Hull, Yorkshire. Deepest sympathy to all his many friends and beloved family.

I had the pleasure of working with Roland for 5 years. I offer my sincere condolences to all who knew him, because he will be sadly missed. He was a generous man, who took the time to listen to and understand people.

Roland you were an absolute gentleman and true professional, i enjoyed our time working and socializing together over the years. They always seem to take the good ones early, you will be sadly missed. Rest in Peace my friend
