      Donna touched us all with her warm heart, bright smile and beautiful personality.

      What will we remember most about Donna?  Her humor , her kindness and sincerity and her general belief that everyone is good and means well. 

      She had a great love for music, playing drums and coloring. She had about a 100 coloring books.

      She really enjoyed food, but was not really partial to vegetables although she did take a liking to asperges recently.

      She also liked doing crochet, she started on scarves for a colleague’s daughters in 2017 but never finished them as Donna always wanted everything to be perfect and thought that what she created was never good enough.

      Her drive was something everyone admired. She moved from California to The Netherlands on her own and mastered the Dutch language in no time without following one course

      Donna’s death was sudden, but her life was not faint. Her memory will always be with us.

      We will all miss our friend dearly and are grateful for having known her.

        I just heard this very sad news, which is so hard to believe! We often spoke about our upcoming retirement and you were at my retirement party just before Christmas. We often spoke about L. A. And NYC as well. You were too young and so full of life and music! Condolences to your Mom and sister and family in the USA.

        Dear Friends and Family of Donna ,

        it is unbelievable someone so full of life should no longer be in it. Donna lifted everyone's spirit and soul, including mine . I am very sad i will no longer see her around ..

        My deepest sympathies go out to the near and dear ones from Donna. Ever since, I have worked at Elsevier Donna has been a great presence around me. I will miss her explosive energy, kindness and straight to the point attitude. You always knew where you stood with Donna, she was a breath of fresh air.

        Dear Donna,
        I enjoyed working with you so much and will really miss you around the office. You were always so helpful and a real breath of fresh air. I felt like you always only needed one word to understand what I was trying to say. You were also so young at heart! No one would believe that you were actually nearing retirement. I want to wish your mum, sister and family all the strength needed to carry this loss. Rest in peace Donna.

        My sincere condolences to her Mum and Sister and family in LA.
        Donna was a spunky lady who liked playing her drums but also drawing and coloring. I thoroughly enjoyed our countless lunches and rides in the train back home. I will miss her clear view of people and situations and the wisdom she shared. I will miss her dearly. It is so unreal! I just can't believe it.
        May her soul rest in peace and play heavenly drums!

        We've gone back for such a long time, Donna, and finding out you will not be here anymore is hard to comprehend. I will miss our ad-hoc lunches and the laughs we then had... You will be missed! Rest in Peace, Donna!!

        Dear Gordon family and friends,
        I am so very saddened to hear of Donna's passing. I will miss seeing her face in the office and our little chats if we walked to or from the station together. I especially loved hearding about her musical endeavours - you could really tell that was her passion. May she rest in peace and may your memories of her be a blessing to you.
